Job summary

Watertown Elementary in Wilson County is seeking a Pre-K Educational Assistant for the voluntary PreK program. The role supports the Pre-K teacher and follows district EA guidelines; requires HQ by Associate's degree or CDA/early childhood certificate.

This is a 180-day position with insurance and retirement benefits. Starting pay is at least $14.80 per hour, with placement on Grade 3 of the hourly staff salary schedule depending on education and experience.

Qualifications

• HQ requires a minimum of an Associate's degree or coursework in Early Childhood or a comparable field.
• If an Associate's degree is not in Early Childhood, candidates must hold a CDA or early childhood technical certificate.
• Relevant work experience in early childhood education may be acceptable for the requirement.

Responsibilities

• Work under the directive of the Pre-Kindergarten teacher to which you are assigned.
• Follow all EA guidelines set forth by Wilson County Schools.
