Job summary

Alpha is hiring an Early Childhood Curriculum Coordinator to drive PreK readiness through guide coaching, program fidelity, and joyful, data‑driven classrooms.

You will spend roughly a third of your time in classrooms—modeling facilitation, observing sessions, and calibration reviews—while the rest is designing play‑based curricula, coaching Guides with measurable goals, and updating families with evidence‑based progress.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field; Master's preferred
• Minimum 5 years with children aged 3–5, including as lead/primary teacher
• Proven play-based curriculum design experience
• At least 1 year coaching or managing early childhood staff
• Experience preparing family progress updates
• Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
• Willingness to work in-person at Alpha Austin campus with relocation support

Responsibilities

• Lead 1:1 and small-group coaching sessions for PreK Guides, modeling techniques, and celebrating measurable wins
• Design and facilitate play-based learning blocks that balance SEL, literacy, numeracy, and motor skills, modeling best-in-class practice for the team
• Review and calibrate Guide documentation weekly for rubric alignment and actionability, leading calibration sessions to keep milestone progress visible
• Prepare family updates and run team huddles that align priorities and reinforce shared expectations toward campus-wide PreK readiness goals
