Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must pass GACE Paraprofessional Assessment or have Technical Certificate of Credit in Early Childhood Education.
• Associate's Degree or higher from a GaPSC-accepted accredited institution is acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Assists with classroom organization, management, and instruction development.
• Works closely with Pre-K teacher and students.
• Assists with preparation of educational materials for students.
• Works individually with students or in small groups to reinforce learning objectives.
• Assists with daily routine tasks: distributing/collecting supplies, attendance, and instructional guidelines.
• Participates in lunchroom, recess, hall-monitoring, and bus duties.
• Maintains learning centers for instruction.
• Performs other duties as assigned by administrator.
