Uncommon New York City Charter Schools seeks an enthusiastic Pre-K Teacher to help cultivate a love of learning from the start. You will teach in a co-taught setting with a lead and apprentice, emphasizing literacy, math, science, and social studies through playful, purposeful instruction.

You will analyze student work weekly with leadership, differentiate for all learners, and engage families to support learning outcomes while contributing to a respectful, hardworking classroom culture.

Responsibilities

• Co-teach and build an engaging classroom environment that supports mastery through exploration and play.
• Co-teach literacy, mathematics, science and social studies.
• Collaborate with the teaching team to facilitate centers and small-group instruction.
• Meet weekly with leadership to analyze student data and differentiate instruction.
• Support school culture through relationships, family partnerships, and ongoing professional development.
