Job summary

St. Patrick's School in Rockville, MD, is hiring a Pre-K (4+) teacher for the 2026-27 school year. This is a full-time role reporting to the Principal with a salary range of $50,000–$55,000 and outstanding benefits.

The teacher will plan and deliver lessons aligned with Archdiocese of Washington standards, differentiate instruction, foster Catholic values, and maintain strong communication with families. This position supports an elementary program in a faith-based setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Current teacher certification in Maryland, Virginia, or Washington, DC (candidates have 3 years from hire to earn certification).
• Knowledge of child development and supervision.
• Experience teaching in an elementary school setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and create lesson plans aligned with Archdiocese standards.
• Deliver a balanced program of instruction with varied approaches.
• Differentiate instruction to meet diverse student needs.
• Maintain a positive learning environment and communicate with parents.
• Foster Catholic identity and participate in liturgical activities.
• Perform non-instructional duties as required (e.g., substitutes, meetings).
