Boston Renaissance Charter Public School is seeking a Substantially Separate Special Education Teacher for PreK-2 to provide designed instruction so that students access the same opportunities as peers. The role emphasizes collaboration, data-informed planning, and integration of technology.

The candidate will write IEPs, participate in IEP meetings, and align instruction with Massachusetts standards while supporting social and emotional development.

Formación

• MA teacher license in Severe Disabilities, Pre K-8 required or highly qualified.
• Minimum of three years of classroom teaching experience.
• Knowledge of special education law as it relates to IEPs and FAPE.

Responsabilidades

• Write and adhere to lesson plans in accordance with MA standards.
• Support implementation of school-wide performance standards and instructional methods.
• Implement core curriculum with grade-level pacing and instructional models.
• Attend grade-level meetings and support teaching team goals.
• Collaborate with team on curriculum and student needs.
• Prepare IEPs and attend IEP team meetings as needed.
• Maintain records of reevaluation periods and parent communication.
• Integrate technology into instruction.
