Job summary

Hillsboro R-III School District is seeking a Paraprofessional to assist teachers with instruction, practice, and enrichment to help students meet Missouri standards. The role includes clerical support, materials preparation, and ensuring a positive educational experience.

The paraprofessional will supervise students, assist with lesson delivery, and support data collection for assessments under the supervision of the assigned teacher or principal.

Qualifications

• Clerical duties include photocopies, laminating, preparing books and materials.
• Maintains order and assists with behavior in classroom and lunchroom.
• Supports teachers with lessons and feedback to students.

Responsibilities

• Assists teachers in instructing students individually or in groups using various aids.
• Administers tests and collects data on student progress as directed.
• Supervises lunchroom and assists with seating and behavior management.
• Maintains classroom materials and equipment and supports student engagement.
