Job summary

Women’s Care, a leading women’s healthcare group with 100+ locations nationwide, seeks an OB Coordinator to support obstetrics patients through pregnancy. You will meet with new OB patients, complete medical histories, and manage prenatal paperwork including consent forms and financial agreements.

You’ll coordinate referrals to MFM, nutritionists, and infusion centers, ensure HIPAA compliance, and provide maternity education.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completed Medical Assistant program from an accredited school.
• 1-3 years of healthcare experience in OB/GYN preferred.
• Excellent customer service and ability to communicate medical information clearly.
• Proficient in computer data entry in an EMR (eCW preferred).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate obstetrics patients through pregnancy.
• Meet with every new obstetrics patient.
• Complete medical history intake and OB flow sheet.
• Ensure OB prenatal paperwork including NICA, consent to treat, consent to deliver, and financial agreements.
• Review the pregnancy guidebook with the patient.
• Provide general maternity education to patients.
• Handle referrals to MFM, nutritionist, and/or infusion center as needed.
• Contact non-compliant patients to facilitate follow up.
• Answer patient questions within scope of knowledge.
• Demonstrate and embody Women’s Care mission and core values.
• Compliance with HIPAA rules and guidelines.
• Other duties as assigned.
