Job summary

Worth & Company, Inc. is seeking a mechanically inclined Prefabrication Mechanic to join our Bucks County fabrication team.

You will assemble bathroom skids, pipe hangers, stands, and other prefabricated plumbing assemblies according to specifications while handling copper piping and related materials. The ideal candidate has hands-on skills with soldering or brazing, strong attention to detail, good manual dexterity, and the ability to read measurements.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude with the ability to use hand and power tools safely.
• Experience working with copper pipe preferred.
• Knowledge of soldering and brazing techniques preferred.
• Plumbing, HVAC, pipefitting, manufacturing, or mechanical assembly experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
• Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Assemble bathroom skids, pipe hangers, stands, and other prefabricated assemblies according to specifications.
• Work with copper piping and related plumbing materials.
• Perform soldering and brazing tasks as needed.
• Paint pipes, pipe racks, stands, and other fabricated components.
• Read measurements and ensure assemblies meet quality standards.
• Receive, organize, and stage materials for production.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Demonstrate mechanical aptitude and attention to detail in all work performed.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
