Job summary

Precision Plumbing in Matthews, NC is seeking a Prefabrication Technician to support fabrication shop operations by assembling plumbing materials and assisting with shop and warehouse activities. You will prepare pipes, fittings, hangers, carriers, and other materials for construction projects, working closely with the Prefabrication Manager to meet project timelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Good communication skills and ability to learn.
• Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Assemble pipes, fittings, hangers, carriers, and other materials in accordance with fabrication shop specifications and project requirements.
• Follow directions from the Prefabrication Supervisor and participate in training and skill development opportunities.
• Demonstrate initiative by identifying work that needs to be completed and seeking guidance to support shop productivity.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
• Assist the Prefabrication Supervisor with required documentation, reports, and administrative tasks.
• Help protect and maintain company assets, including trucks, tools, equipment, and shop facilities.
• Assist with receiving, tracking, and maintaining inventory of materials and deliveries.
• Support shop operations by performing additional duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
• Contribute to a positive team environment through effective communication and cooperation.
