Job summary

EPI Power, a subsidiary of The Weitz Company, seeks a Prefabrication Director to lead and scale prefabrication for electrical construction projects, including data centers. You will develop a multiyear strategy, oversee shop operations, and drive safety, quality, productivity, and cost predictability across geographies.

Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years of electrical construction experience.
• At least 7 years leading prefabrication or manufacturing operations.
• Lean manufacturing experience and scaling initiatives.
• Bachelor's degree required; related experience may be considered.
• OSHA 30 preferred or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Build and execute a multiyear prefabrication strategy aligned with goals.
• Lead prefabrication shop operations: workflow, scheduling, workforce, logistics, quality, safety.
• Standardize processes to drive efficiency, quality and scalability.
• Implement lean manufacturing to maximize throughput and meet schedules.
• Partner with operations, preconstruction, supply chain, and virtual design to identify opportunities and evaluate impacts.
• Coordinate prefabrication deliverables with field installation sequencing.
• Drive financial accountability: cost control and profitability analysis.
• Analyze performance metrics and collaborate with estimating to optimize ROI.
• Stay ahead of trends and new tech to boost productivity and safety.
• Lead, mentor, and develop direct reports; set goals and support growth.
