Job summary

CBRE Reliability Technician role supports site reliability through Predictive Maintenance training, dashboard review, and technical support across facilities. Up to 75% travel required for PdM training and reliability initiatives.

The role emphasizes hands-on PdM coaching, identification of equipment concerns, and maintaining training and reliability documentation within the Engineering and Technical Services function.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 1–2 years of relevant technical, maintenance, or reliability experience.
• Basic understanding of maintenance, equipment reliability, or Predictive Maintenance (PdM) practices.
• Ability and willingness to learn and provide technical training and hands-on coaching.
• Ability to review dashboards, identify basic trends, and communicate findings to site teams.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills with an inquisitive mindset.
• Ability to travel up to 75% to supported sites for PdM training, technical support, and reliability initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Support and deliver hands-on PdM training and education to site maintenance teams.
• Monitor reliability and condition-monitoring dashboards to identify trends, alerts, and potential equipment concerns.
• Support site teams with PdM technologies, tools, inspections, and basic troubleshooting.
• Provide technical coaching and education to improve technician knowledge of condition-based and predictive maintenance practices.
• Assist with PdM activities such as vibration monitoring, infrared thermography, ultrasound, and other condition-monitoring technologies.
• Help sites understand PdM findings and support appropriate maintenance follow-up.
• Maintain accurate training, PdM, and reliability documentation.
• Partner with site teams and training teams to identify knowledge gaps and improve technician capability.
• Follow established reliability, maintenance, safety, and compliance procedures.
• No formal supervisory responsibilities.
