Job summary

NRG Energy is seeking a Predictive Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the PdM group and coordinate data analysis, inspections and RCA initiatives at the Thompsons facility. The role interfaces with maintenance and operations to optimize equipment reliability and safety.

You will train PdM personnel, plan MOV/AOV testing, supervise scheduling and calibration, and collaborate with vendors to implement equipment upgrades and improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or similar.
• Knowledge of PdM equipment, data collection, software and analysis.
• Knowledge of applicable industry and corporate codes and standards.
• Ability to perform inspections and field measurements.
• Interpret data and make actionable recommendations.
• Proficient with standard business software for spreadsheets and reports.
• Effective communication with plant and management personnel.

Responsibilities

• PdM group oversight and route assignments.
• Review of critical data collected by PdM personnel.
• Support on Root Cause Analysis and repeat problems.
• Training coordination for PdM personnel.
• Develop plan for MOV/AOV testing in PdM program.
• Schedule and support PdM equipment maintenance and calibration.
• Recommend new/upgrades to PdM equipment.
• Perform field inspections and equipment walk-downs.
• Review vibration data and route coverage as needed.
• Ensure safety and environmental programs are followed.
• Prepare written and oral reports for PdM activities.
• Lead teams focusing on problem areas for generating units.
• Coordinate with Vendors/Contractors and outside support groups.
• Provide technical support to plant operations and maintenance.
