Job summary

NRG Energy is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor-Predictive to oversee the plant's Predictive Maintenance (PdM) group. You will review critical data and coordinate with plant maintenance and operations on equipment concerns to ensure reliable performance.

The role requires leading PdM personnel, performing field inspections, and supporting root-cause analyses, with a focus on safety and process improvements across generation units.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in progressive power plant maintenance experience.
• Experience leading/supervising PdM teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering preferred.
• Texas Driver's License required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the PdM group and assign routes.
• Review critical data collected by PdM personnel.
• Support root-cause analyses and repeat problems.
• Coordinate PdM training development and delivery.
• Develop plan to incorporate MOV/AOV testing into PdM.
• Schedule and support PdM equipment maintenance and calibration.
• Recommend PdM equipment upgrades and new tech.
• Perform field inspections and equipment walk-downs.
• Review vibration data and route coverage.
• Ensure safety and environmental programs are emphasized.
• Prepare written and oral reports for PdM activities.
• Lead teams focusing on problem areas for generating units.
• Coordinate with Vendors/Contractors and outside support groups.
• Provide technical support to plant operations and maintenance.
• Proactively identify problems and propose solutions.
