Job summary

Radley James is seeking a talented Trader to join its Prediction Markets team in New York City. You will monitor and trade real-time prediction markets across Kalshi, Polymarket and other venues, implementing strategies across sports, crypto, elections and weather.

You will be hands-on, improving the whole stack at the intersection of research, trading, market operations, and emerging markets. Expect wear-many-hats and occasional evening or weekend coverage for key events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Maths, CS or similar from a reputable university.
• 2–7 years experience as a trader.
• Background in market making, statistical arbitrage, event-driven trading or similar.
• Excellent quantitative and analytical skills (probability, basic statistics).
• Demonstrated interest in prediction markets and active engagement in the space.
• Owner mentality; determined, ambitious yet collaborative and eager to learn.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and trade prediction markets in real time across Kalshi, Polymarket and other venues.

One of the largest algorithmic trading companies in TradFi and digital assets are looking to hire a talented Trader to join it's growing Prediction Markets team in NYC. This is a unique opportunity to play a highly visible role in the early, rapid, and well-resourced expansion of the teams foothold in this domain.

You will be responsible for monitoring and trading prediction markets in real time across Kalshi, Polymarket and other venues; implementing strategies across categories such as sports, crypto, elections and weather. You will be hands-on, improving the whole stack. This role sits at the intersection of research, trading, market operations, and emerging alternative markets. You'll have to wear many hats and provide coverage for key events, for example major sports games where market activity is heightened, and can fall on evenings or weekends at times.

What we're looking for:

• A Bachelor or Master's degree in Maths, Computer Science or similar from a reputable university
• 2-7 years experience as a trader
• A background in market making, statistical arbitrage, event-driven trading or similar
• Excellent quantitative and analytical skills (probability, basic statistics etc)
• Demonstrated interest in prediction markets - you are engaged in the space (personal trading, following major developments, contributing to discussions, etc.)
• Have an owner mentality
• Determined, ambitious yet humble, willing to work hard and learn on the way in a collaborative environment

This is a full-time role, based in New York. Compensation is highly competitive and contingent on experience.
