The ideal candidate should have trading experience in prediction markets or related fields and strong analytical skills. You will work closely with quantitative researchers to enhance trading models.

Role

We are currently working with an established Systematic Trading firm, who are building a world-class global systematic Prediction Markets Trading franchise, with seasoned Traders already on the team from Traditional Finance Markets, Prediction markets, Sports Exchanges and Event-Driven Trading.

The successful incumbent will have an opportunity to design and execute trading strategies across a range of event-driven markets, including politics, economics, sports, entertainment, and real-world outcomes with substantial capital backing from the firm.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute profitable trading strategies across prediction markets and event contracts
• Analyse probabilities, pricing discrepancies, and market inefficiencies
• Trade election, macroeconomic, geopolitical, sports, and special-event markets
• Monitor news flow and real-time developments impacting market outcomes
• Identify arbitrage opportunities across exchanges and venuesCollaborate with quantitative researchers to improve forecasting models
• Assist in the development of automated and systematic trading strategies
• Manage portfolio risk and position sizing across multiple event categories

Requirements

• Experience trading prediction markets, sports betting exchanges, options, futures, crypto, or other event-driven markets
• Strong understanding of probability, statistics, and expected value
• Excellent analytical and quantitative skills
• Knowledge of market microstructure and liquidity dynamics
• Strong attention to detail and intellectual curiosity
• Ability to process large volumes of information quickly and accurately
• Python, R, SQL, or similar analytical tools and Machine learning or statistical modelling experience
