Job summary

Wintermute is expanding its Americas team and seeks a hands-on trader with strong Python and quantitative skills to monitor and trade prediction markets in real time. You’ll implement strategies across sports, elections and weather, and help build the greenfield predictions stack while supporting events that may fall evenings or weekends.

Qualifications

• Strong Python skills; 1–3 years of coding experience
• Excellent quantitative and analytical skills; testing will be conducted
• Demonstrated work experience in prediction markets
• Owner mentality; focus on P&L and growing the business
• Love problem solving; willing to trade, code, analyze data and collaborate
• Determined, ambitious yet humble; willing to work hard and learn

Responsibilities

• Monitor and trade predictions in real time across Kalshi, Polymarket and other venues
• Implement strategies across categories such as sports, upDown markets, elections and weather
• Be hands-on and improve the entire stack; build the system you want
• Provide coverage for events (evenings or weekends) when market activity peaks
• Wear many hats and contribute across trading, coding, and data analysis
