Job summary

QTS Realty Trust is seeking a Predevelopment Project Analyst to support upfront diligence, budgeting, and schedule management for data center development. You will collaborate with Corporate Real Estate, Development, Engineering and Data Center Operations to ensure projects align with standards and are delivered on time.

The role requires strong written and verbal communication, 1–3 years in real estate or commercial development, and proficiency with MS Office for executive updates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Business, Engineering or equivalent professional experience.
• Typically 1–2 years of related experience in commercial development or real estate practices.
• Experience with Microsoft Office suite, especially PowerPoint and Excel, for executive updates.

Responsibilities

• Support Predevelopment Project Managers and Acquisitions with upfront diligence workstreams.
• Assist with preparation of predevelopments budgets and cashflow forecasts.
• Create updates on development program initiatives and project status for executives.
• Support due diligence for land banks and properties, including evaluating build opportunities.
• Develop entitlement and permit schedules for new properties and data centers.
• Participate in design, entitlement, and permit activities for key projects.
• Ensure designs align with approved standards and identify improvement areas.
• Support continuous improvement of predevelopment processes and efficiency.
