Job summary

Autodesk is seeking a Preconstruction Subject Matter Expert (SME) to serve as a trusted advisor for strategic construction customers and sales opportunities. You will bring deep expertise in preconstruction workflows, including estimating, takeoff, bid management, procurement, budgeting, and risk mitigation, to help customers plan, pursue, and win work and modernize processes using Autodesk Forma.

The role focuses on supporting strategic opportunities, executive engagements, and field-facing

Qualifications

10+ years of construction industry experience with leadership roles
Deep knowledge of preconstruction workflows and best practices
Strong ability to connect technology investments to measurable outcomes
Excellent presentation, communication, and executive engagement skills
Willingness to travel up to 30%

Responsibilities

Act as SME supporting complex opportunities involving preconstruction workflows and Autodesk Forma
Partner with Account Executives and teams to advance opportunities with industry expertise
Conduct discovery sessions to understand customer processes and goals
Translate pain points into measurable business outcomes and strategies
Provide competitive positioning and support proposal development
