Allegiance Group in Charlotte, NC is seeking an experienced Preconstruction Manager to lead preconstruction activities from early budgeting through GMP. The role involves developing estimates, bids, and coordinating with owners, architects, and subcontractors on public and private projects.

The ideal candidate will have strong preconstruction and estimating experience, expertise in CM-at-Risk delivery, and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Managing preconstruction activities from early budgeting through GMP.
• Developing estimates and preparing competitive bids.
• Experience with CM-at-Risk/public work and procurement processes.
• Taking projects to market and working with subcontractors and trade partners.
• Developing budgets, estimates and cost plans.
• Supporting value engineering and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
• Working directly with owners, architects, consultants and project teams.
• Presenting estimates and proposals clearly to clients.
• Building strong relationships throughout the preconstruction process.
• Working closely with the wider preconstruction and operations teams.
