Job summary

Nicholas & Associates, Inc. is seeking a Preconstruction Manager to lead the organization, planning, and coordination of projects through the preconstruction phase.

The role collaborates with the Director of Construction to ensure projects are thoroughly organized and positioned for successful execution. The Manager will guide the preconstruction process, develop project information, and mentor the future Project Management Team during internal transitions.

Qualifications

• 4-year degree in construction/real estate related field.
• Solid knowledge of construction systems and methods.

Responsibilities

• Lead organization, planning, and coordination of preconstruction activities.
• Collaborate with Director of Construction and internal teams to develop project information.
• Teach and guide the project management team during transitions.
• Coordinate project requirements and develop trade scopes before proposals.
• Review budgets, bids, and proposals for alignment with plans and specs.
• Lead project meetings and maintain rigorous project organization.
• Support and guide entitlement processes with internal and external teams.
• Manage multiple projects concurrently.
