Job summary

Manhattan Construction Company is seeking a Preconstruction Manager to lead companywide preconstruction activities and mentor team members. You will guide project cost planning, develop concept budgets, and ensure adherence to MCC standards while maintaining strong client service and communication.

The role requires deep knowledge of general conditions estimates, schedules, and risk management, with a focus on collaboration across design, scope, and operations teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or equivalent; substitution allowed with related experience on a one-to-one basis.
• 12 years of industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Represent Manhattan’s Preconstruction Team to Clients.
• Meet Client Needs/Budget/Attend OAC/design meetings.
• Provide Concept Budgets and Value Management Analysis.
• Coordinate with operations to ensure correct cost budgets sent to accounting.
• Review Subcontracts and manage subcontractor relationships.
