Icon Structures, located in Colorado Springs, is actively seeking a qualified Preconstruction Manager to join our team. You will staff projects correctly, support estimators, and ensure leadership provides a voice that directly impacts success.

Our team emphasizes value and strong preconstruction processes. The role involves bidding, negotiating, estimating, and overseeing the transition from preconstruction to operations, with a salary range of $100k-$150k.

Qualifications

• Estimating experience, construction management, or related trades.
• Full-time position with overtime and travel as required.
• Strong leadership skills with effective verbal and written communication.
• Proficiency in takeoff and estimating platforms; working knowledge of scheduling tools.
• Ability to complete accurate estimates on schedule while maintaining project goals.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with owners, architects, and consultants.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and track bid and other opportunities
• Maintain the bid process, track bidders and ensure adequate coverage on all trades
• Effectively manage the preconstruction process with owners and architects providing timely information
• Submit and process PRFI’s, manage the flow of information to subcontractors & understand the design and specifications
• Review subcontractor bids to ensure complete coverage
• Develop good working relationships with owners and architects to encourage repeat business
• Understand plans and specifications and relate them effectively to subcontractors and owners
• Understand construction means and methods, subcontractor capabilities and building materials
