Job summary

KingRecruitingServices seeks an experienced Preconstruction Manager to lead commercial project estimates from start to finish in Columbus, OH. You will drive the preconstruction phase, build key relationships, and present critical cost information to clients.

Responsibilities include estimating & strategy, subcontractor management, and leadership with owners and architects. Relocation assistance available; salary range $130,000–$160,000 with bonuses based on experience.

Qualifications

• Lead, create, and complete entire project estimates.
• Perform detailed On-Screen Takeoffs.
• Develop preliminary preconstruction schedules.
• Formulate Value Engineering (VE) ideas and calculate associated costs.
• Research specified materials and source viable alternatives.
• Review, analyze, and correct estimates prepared by team members.
• Manage project staffing and General Condition requirements.
• Maintain expert knowledge of current market and unit pricing.

• Prepare polished, professional presentation documents.
• Confidently present cost information and estimates to clients.
