Job summary

Invoke Staffing's client in Atlanta, GA is seeking a Preconstruction Manager to lead early cost estimating, budgeting, and constructability review for ground-up multifamily and mixed-use projects. You will collaborate with project executives, design teams, and trade partners to develop budgets, GMPs, and value-engineering options from concept through GMP.

You should have at least 2 years in preconstruction or estimating with a construction management/engineering degree preferred, and proficiency

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in preconstruction or estimating at a commercial or multifamily general contractor.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred (equivalent experience considered).
• Working knowledge of estimating software (e.g., On-Screen Takeoff, Bluebeam, ProEst, or similar).
• Strong understanding of construction means, methods, and cost drivers. Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare conceptual, schematic, and detailed cost estimates throughout project design phases.
• Solicit, review, and level subcontractor and vendor bids.
• Assist in developing project budgets, GMPs, and value engineering options.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and internal project teams during design development.

• Support constructability reviews and identify potential risks or cost-saving opportunities.
• Help prepare bid packages, scopes of work, and preconstruction schedules.

Our client, a well-established multifamily developer and general contractor with a strong presence in the Atlanta market, is seeking a Preconstruction Manager to join their growing team. This is a great opportunity for a preconstruction or estimating professional looking to take on more ownership within a stable, high-growth organization.

Position Summary

The Preconstruction Manager will support the preconstruction process for ground-up multifamily and mixed-use developments, working closely with project executives, design teams, and trade partners to develop accurate budgets, schedules, and constructability assessments from early conceptual stages through GMP.

Compensation & Benefits

• Base salary: $90,000–$130,000, commensurate with experience
