Job summary

Metric DCX is seeking a Pre-Construction Manager to lead pre-construction for large-scale GPU data center projects. You will review design for constructability, assess electrical/thermal systems, and coordinate interconnections, utilities, and phasing.

In this role, you will build scope packages, manage GC bids and subcontractor evaluations, and own cost analysis from concept to GMP. Willingness to travel 20–30% across regions is required.

• Proven experience leading pre-construction on large-scale data center or mission-critical projects.
• Strong site due diligence, scope development, GC management, and cost analysis skills.
• Willingness to travel 20-30% and build project teams across regions.

Responsibilities

• Lead constructability reviews across electrical, mechanical, structural, and civil design.
• Run site evaluations covering electrical capacity, utilities, civil/structural conditions, and phasing.
• Build construction scope packages and RFPs, and manage GC bid reviews and subcontractor evaluations.
• Own construction cost analysis from concept through GMP.
• Build handoff packages for Construction Managers and support contract negotiations.
