Job summary

McCownGordon Construction is seeking a seasoned Estimator/Preconstruction professional to lead estimates, develop budgets, and guide smaller projects from early concept through GMP. You will train entry-level estimators, coordinate with design teams, and participate in owner and project meetings.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a construction-related field and 5+ years of estimating or preconstruction experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in construction-related field.
• 5+ years' estimating or preconstruction experience.
• Proficiency with industry-standard estimating tools and software.

Responsibilities

• Manage project estimates and coordinate preconstruction activities.
• Lead communication with design teams, architects, and clients to clarify unknown areas.
• Develop budgets, bid tabs, and GMP for proposals.
• Coordinate with trade partners and senior leadership for bid analysis and approvals.
• Present information to internal departments and manage cost strategies.
