Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional construction estimating experience.
• Approximately 5+ years in the construction industry preferred.
• Experience on estimating projects over $20M.
• Experience with competitive bidding and/or negotiated/GMP-type projects.
• Strong knowledge of quantity takeoffs and estimating.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specs.
• Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed and complex cost estimates for competitive bids and negotiated opportunities.
• Perform quantity takeoffs and surveys from plans and specs.
• Develop scopes of work across multiple trades.
• Review drawings and schedules to build comprehensive estimates.
• Coordinate pricing with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors.
• Manage bid packages and ensure market coverage.
• Mentor and train junior estimators and preconstruction staff.
• Support project profitability through cost analysis and procurement strategy.
