Job summary

CoVolt Power AHV is seeking a Director of Preconstruction Management to drive assigned projects from award through EPC contract execution and handover to Project Delivery.

You will oversee contracting strategy, manage the preconstruction deliverables, and mitigate risk to protect margin while balancing customer interests. This role requires leadership across teams and rigorous reporting to executives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in one of the listed fields or related-equivalent experience.
• Proven track record leading multidisciplinary managers and teams.
• Demonstrated ability to lead negotiation and execution of utility-scale renewable energy EPC contracts over $100MM.
• Knowledge of project management control systems: scheduling, estimating, cost control, procurement, contract administration and change management.
• Field construction experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Preconstruction Management team with standardized tools and processes.
• Oversee post-award contracting strategy and EPC execution across multiple projects.
• Coordinate resources to resolve issues and maintain progress, reporting to leadership.
• Maintain alignment between EPC contracts, budget, schedule and execution strategy.
