Job summary

SourceBlue, a Turner Construction Company division, is seeking an experienced professional to lead cost estimation, procurement, and bid management for major projects. This role requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, or construction management and a minimum of seven years in building construction.

Strong vendor management and client-relations skills are essential, with extensive knowledge of regional market trends. Internal applicants may work from any Turner office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with minimum 7 years of building construction experience
• Experience with variety of building construction types
• Understanding of drawings, specifications, general contracts and subcontract documents
• Ability to develop client relationships and identify sales opportunities
• Knowledge of construction regional market and industry trends

Responsibilities

• Collaborate across departments to ensure project success
• Solicit vendor pricing and develop bid packages
• Assess vendor bids against contractual requirements and prepare bid analyses
• Coordinate procurement schedules and evaluate subcontractor proposals
• Manage and oversee Value Engineering during preconstruction
• Provide guidance related to purchasing and supply chain to project teams
