Jobot is working with an Indianapolis-based general contractor to fill a leadership role as PreConstruction Director. This is a senior, market-facing position overseeing all preconstruction activities for a diversified portfolio of commercial projects.

You will own planning, estimating, scheduling, and budgeting, lead a talented team, and collaborate with clients, designers, and field leadership to drive value.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10+ years of experience in preconstruction management in the construction industry.
• Expertise in project planning, estimating, scheduling, and budgeting.
• Proficient with a broad spectrum of digital construction tools (Timberline, MS Office, bid management systems, online plan rooms, Bluebeam).
• Strong technical knowledge of construction methods and practices.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a diverse team.
• Proven track record of managing preconstruction for large-scale projects.

PreConstruction Director - Indianapolis General Contractor

Salary: $150,000 - $200,000 per year

Qualifications

6. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve potential issues before they impact the project.
7. A proven track record of managing preconstruction activities for large-scale construction projects.
8. A bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
