Job summary

EASTERN is seeking an Estimator in Preconstruction in Duluth, GA to lead initial cost modeling for industrial and commercial projects. You will prepare cost estimates, quantities, and timelines, and work with project managers, architects, and suppliers to meet client budgets.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in construction-related fields and demonstrates strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills with proficiency in estimating software.

• Collaborate with subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers to obtain competitive pricing and ensure cost-effectiveness.
• Utilize industry-standard software for estimating, scheduling, and project management.
• Present preconstruction proposals and recommendations to clients, addressing their needs and concerns.
• Continuously monitor and update project budgets, schedules, and specifications throughout the preconstruction phase.
