Job summary

Lvi-Associates is seeking a Precon Project Manager for Monroe, NC to guide utility-scale solar projects from award through construction handoff. You will coordinate engineering, permitting, procurement, and operations across multiple concurrent projects.

The role requires a strong background in construction project management (5+ years) and proficiency with MS Project, with a focus on delivering on schedule and within budget while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Own project schedules and budgets throughout the pre-construction phase.
• Coordinate engineering, permitting, procurement, utilities, and subcontractors to keep projects on track.
• Manage subcontractor RFPs, bid packages, and scope reviews.
• Drive permitting, AHJ approvals, environmental reviews, and utility/interconnection coordination.
• Work cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure a smooth transition into construction.

Pre-Construction Project Manager

A growing renewable energy company is looking for a Pre-Construction Project Manager to help drive utility-scale solar projects from award through construction handoff. This person will serve as the key link between engineering, procurement, permitting, and operations while managing multiple projects simultaneously.

What You'll Be Doing

• Own project schedules and budgets throughout the pre-construction phase.
• Coordinate engineering, permitting, procurement, utilities, and subcontractors to keep projects on track.
• Manage subcontractor RFPs, bid packages, and scope reviews.
• Drive permitting, AHJ approvals, environmental reviews, and utility/interconnection coordination.
• Work cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure a smooth transition into construction.

Preferred Experience
