Job summary

RTI International is a scientific research institute seeking a dynamic Project Manager to drive preclinical therapeutic development from concept to reality. You will lead multiple concurrent programs within RTI's Laboratory Sciences and Engineering division, partnering with scientists and experts to accelerate early-stage product development addressing critical healthcare needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of experience in supporting early-stage and preclinical therapeutic development projects.
• Master's degree with 4+ years of experience in supporting early-stage and preclinical therapeutic development projects.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to collaborate in multidisciplinary teams.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Project.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
• Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States and not require sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Track progress of ongoing project activities with project teams.
• Track milestones, critical path activities, dependencies, and mitigation strategies for on-time execution.
• Maintain high levels of communication with project teams, resources, and clients.
• Plan studies and tasks with CRO staff or consultants to finalize study protocols.
• Research and summarize program information for responses, proposals, reports and meetings.
• Coordinate activities and communication across multiple organizations.
• Prepare project status reports and dashboards.
• Manage conference calls, meetings, and logistics for projects.
• Prepare agendas and minutes for project team meetings; track action items.
• Aid in creating and tracking project budgets.
