Job summary

Neurocrine Biosciences is seeking a Program Manager to lead Preclinical programs, spanning early research through IND/CTA readiness and First‑in‑Human development. You will partner with Toxicology, DMPK/ADME, Bioanalytical Sciences, Clinical Pharmacology, and Pharmacometrics, coordinating with Research, CMC, Clinical Development, Regulatory Affairs, and Finance to align strategy and execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or higher with relevant experience in preclinical program management.
• Experience spanning early research through IND/CTA readiness and FIH development.
• Understanding of Toxicology, DMPK/ADME, Bioanalytical, Clinical Pharmacology, Pharmacometrics.
• Ability to translate plans into integrated program timelines and milestones.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration and communication with leadership.

Responsibilities

• Provide program management leadership for 6+ Preclinical sub teams and coordinate across assets.
• Develop and maintain integrated project plans, timelines, risk trackers, dashboards.
• Monitor program performance and escalate issues to keep development objectives.
• Support IND/CTA readiness and First‑in‑Human activities.
• Participate in portfolio updates and leadership reporting.
• Collaborate with Finance for budgeting and forecasting.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements.
