Job summary

Harvard Bioscience is seeking a pre-clinical surgery specialist to perform routine small animal surgeries, provide in-house surgical training for DSI customers, and support the development of new surgical techniques used in animal research. • Must have post‑operative animal care experience.
• Two years of relevant experience with small laboratory animals.
• Certification (SRT or SRS) or willingness to obtain.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform simple to complex small animal surgeries.
• Provide in-house surgical training for DSI customers.
• Support product development with survival and acute surgeries on small animals.
• Maintain detailed surgical records and documentation.
