The ideal candidate has AS/BS/RVT, 2+ years handling larger animals, and experience with dosing methods. Lifting up to 50 lbs and a fast-paced lab environment are required.

Qualifications

• AS/BS/RVT credential required or equivalent.
• 2+ years experience handling larger animals (pigs, sheep, goats, rabbits, etc).
• Experience with dosing/injections (IM, SubQ, IV, IP, oral).
• Experience in a surgical environment preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs as needed.

Responsibilities

• Administer test substances to animals by various dosing methods (IV, IP, SC).
• Manage and observe animals pre/post-surgery for general health and well-being.
• Collect biological specimens onsite (skin, tissue, blood) from various species.
