Job summary

The Touro College of Dental Medicine is seeking a qualified instructor for Preclinical Education in New York. You will attend lectures and labs, prepare and present lectures, supervise Sim Lab exercises, and administer quizzes and exams, ensuring compliance with course syllabi and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• DDS or DMD required.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Dental license registration preferred.
• DEA number preferred.

Responsibilities

• Attend all lectures and lab sessions on time and prepared.
• Make lectures and presentations as requested by Course Director.
• Abide by all course syllabi and calibration materials.
• Enter data into the Canvas Learning System as needed.
• Supervise and assist students in Sim Lab with exercises.
• Notify Course Director of any student difficulties with material.
• Assist in administering quizzes, exams and lab summative exams.
• Assist in grading summative exams as needed.
• Be aware of safety protocols in Sim Lab and Incident Form entries.
• Participate in one-on-one meetings with students as needed by Course Director.
• Attend committee and university meetings as scheduled.
• Pursue other academic activities outside of schedule.
