Qualifications

• Clinical experience in general dentistry; prior teaching or instructional experience in a simulation lab or clinical setting is preferred.
• Demonstrated experience in clinical education support, faculty practice oversight, and compliance with CODA and institutional accreditation standards.
• Familiarity with HIPAA, FERPA, OSHA, and laws/regulations pertaining to the practice of dentistry in New York State.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct instruction and supervision in the preclinical simulation laboratory.
• Supervise and mentor students on the clinic floor during patient care sessions.
• Evaluate student performance using standardized YUCDM rubrics.
• Collaborate with course directors to maintain consistency in instructional standards.
• Assist in maintaining simulation lab equipment and materials.
