Job summary

BURROWS CABINETS is seeking an experienced Woodworking Operator in Waxahachie, TX. You will operate and monitor standard woodworking machinery to process wood, laminates, and composites per custom specs and schedules.

You will read drawings, perform setup/shutdowns, handle changeovers, inspect products, and ensure quality while maintaining a clean, safe work area. Flexibility to move between line tasks and overtime availability are required.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret drawings and shop routings.
• Read a tape measure to 1/32 inch.
• Able to perform to production demands.
• Identify common quality defects in material.
• Follow safety guidelines and instructions.

Responsibilities

• Follow the set up, shut down and operation instructions.
• Able to perform changeovers and replace tooling as required.
• Read and interpret drawings and shop routings.
• Ensure all work is completed per the work order.
• Ensure all quality standards are met; inspect and measure finished products and compare to requirements.
• Flexibility to move between roles to meet line needs.
• Identify safety issues and report to Group Lead.
• Mark completed orders in Salesforce to update build schedule.
• Clean the work area throughout the shift.
