Job summary

Rexel USA Mayer Team in Pompano Beach, FL is seeking a Wire Cutter to fulfill orders for wire and cable cuts with precision and safety. The role involves operating material handling equipment, scanning RF devices, and ensuring accurate, damage-free shipments.

Responsibilities include daily machine checks, maintaining safety standards, and assisting with other warehouse tasks as needed. A valid driver’s license and 21+ years of age are required; HS diploma or GED preferred.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of wire cutting experience preferred.
• Forklift, hand truck, pallet jack and other warehouse equipment certification preferred.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must be at least 21 years old.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to a culture focused on safety and safe work environment.
• Operate material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
• Retrieve and cut wire accurately for customer shipments.
• Ensure outbound shipments are accurate and undamaged.
• Adjust machine controls for wire thickness, length and feed.
• Store and stage wire and materials in appropriate areas.
• Maintain quality standards for wire cuts and productivity.
• Report damage to equipment to a supervisor.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
