Job summary

Rexel USA is seeking a Wire Cutter to join the Mayer Team in Pompano Beach, FL. You will cut and prepare wire for shipments, operate forklifts and related equipment, and ensure safety and accuracy in every order.

Ideal candidates have 1+ years in wire cutting or related warehousing, with a valid driver’s license and willingness to be trained on multiple material handling machines. This is a hands-on warehouse role with potential overtime.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of wire cutting experience preferred.
• Prior warehouse or distribution center experience a plus.
• Certification to operate forklift and other warehouse equipment preferred.
• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must pass a pre-employment and annual MVR review
• Must obtain verification of non-expired medical certificate as required by law within 60 days of hire
• No at-fault accidents in past 3 years
• High School or GED preferred

Responsibilities

• Contribute to a culture focused on employee safety and a safe work environment.
• Perform daily machine checks and operate material handling equipment safely.
• Retrieve and cut wire accurately for shipments and inspect conformance to specifications.
• Fill orders efficiently and ensure outbound shipments are damage-free.
• Thread wire through payout spindle and adjust controls for proper thickness and length.
• Stack/store merchandise and stage wire cuts for shipping.
• Maintain minimum standards in wire cuts for accuracy and productivity.
• Report any damage to hardware or equipment to a supervisor.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
