Job summary

Rexel USA is seeking a Wire Cutter in Hayward, CA to support efficient order fulfillment of wire and cable cuts. You will operate material handling equipment, cut wire to spec, and stage shipments while adhering to safety and productivity standards.

The role expects focus on accuracy, equipment checks, and the ability to work a 2:00 PM–10:30 PM schedule, Monday through Friday, with benefits including paid holidays and time off.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Certification to operate forklift and related warehouse equipment preferred.
• Experience in warehouse or distribution center is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety SOPs and EH&S rules; address safety concerns.
• Operate material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
• Retrieve and cut wire accurately for customer shipments; inspect for conformance.
• Ensure outbound shipments are accurate and undamaged.
• Prepare wire reels on payout spindle; adjust controls for wire specs.
• Stack/store merchandise and stage wire cuts for shipping.
• Maintain minimum standards in wire cuts per policy; ensure productivity.
• Report damaged equipment or racks to supervisor.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
