Job summary

Rexel USA is seeking a warehouse associate to efficiently fulfill wire and cable orders using designated material handling equipment. You will store, stage, and cut wire to meet safety and productivity standards, and may cover other warehouse roles as needed.

The role requires familiarity with warehouse operations, ability to follow SOPs, and a focus on accuracy and safety. The position offers a full-time schedule with benefits and opportunities for training on multiple equipment types.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of wire cutting experience preferred.
• Prior warehouse or distribution center experience a plus.
• Certification to operate forklift, hand truck, pallet jack and other warehouse equipment preferred.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must pass a pre-employment and annual MVR review.
• Must obtain verification of non-expired medical certificate within 60 days of hire.
• Must not have had a suspended drivers’ license for a traffic accident/violation within the past 3 years.
• Must not have any at fault accidents in the past 3 years.
• High School or GED - Preferred.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to a culture focused on safety and a safe work environment.
• Perform daily machine checks and operate material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
• Retrieve and cut wire accurately for customer shipments and verify conformance to specifications.
• Fill orders efficiently and ensure outbound shipments are accurate and undamaged.
• Load wire onto payout spindle and adjust controls for thickness, pressure, heat, and cut/strip length.
• Store and stage merchandise and wire cuts in appropriate areas.
• Maintain minimum standards in wire cuts per company policies.
• Report damage to equipment to a supervisor.
• Carry out other duties as assigned.
