Job summary

Loos & Co., INC. in Pomfret, CT, part of the Central Wire Group, seeks an skilled machine operator to produce high-quality wire and cable components. You will operate stranding machinery, monitor quality, and maintain production records in a fast-paced, ISO/AS compliant environment.

You will work with a team to ensure safety, accuracy, and efficiency, with a +$2.50/hr shift premium on 2nd shift. Degreed or trained candidates with manufacturing experience are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret blueprints, specifications and work instructions.
• Use precision measuring instruments to ensure tolerances.
• Maintain ISO/AS and SPC documentation.
• Strong math skills and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate 1–9 stranding machines under supervision.
• Adjust machinery to maintain wire movement, speed and tension.
• Verify start-up approvals and ensure specifications are met.
• Maintain production records and input SPC data daily.
• Perform routine maintenance and ensure safety compliance.
