Job summary

International Wire Group, a Pantheon Electric company, is seeking a Manufacturing Machine Operator for our Canastota, NY facility on 2nd and 3rd shifts. Pay ranges from $29.50 to $31.50 per hour, with full-time benefits and opportunities for overtime.

You'll operate and maintain manufacturing equipment, follow safety procedures, and contribute to quality products across copper wire manufacturing. This role offers training, advancement, and a stable career in a respected industrial environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Stand, walk, bend, and operate during shifts.
• Strong work ethic and dependable attendance.
• Ability to work assigned shifts and overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate manufacturing equipment safely and efficiently.
• Set up, monitor, adjust, and troubleshoot production machinery.
• Inspect products to ensure quality standards and production specifications.
• Record production and quality data using computerized systems.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to support efficient production.
• Identify opportunities to improve safety, quality, productivity, and operational efficiency.
• Safely handle raw materials and finished products.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and quality standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
