Job summary

Allegion in Cincinnati is seeking a first shift production associate to support manufacturing operations and assist machine operators in setup and production tasks. You will handle, transport, and stage materials for processing, load and unload conveyors, and ensure safe, efficient workflow on the shop floor.

The role emphasizes safety, adherence to standardized methods, and physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 lbs. Training is provided to help you grow within our manufacturing teams.

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing experience is preferred, but training will be provided.
• Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks.
• Must be able to see well, depth perception and color distinction.

Responsibilities

• Perform production work as directed to assist Machine Operators set up and operate machines.
• Handle and transport raw materials, parts, supplies, tools, fixtures, dies and trucks.
• Work in all departments to load and unload trucks, count, weight, transport, and pile materials in storage areas.
• Position and handle materials to load and unload conveyors, racks, containers, etc. for processing equipment.
• Deliver materials and parts to manufacturing departments as directed.
• Clean materials
• Follow standardized methods of work.
