Job summary

Allegion is seeking candidates to join the Steelcraft manufacturing team. You will perform production work and assist Machine Operators with setup and operation, while handling materials and transporting items across departments. The role offers training and development opportunities.

The position requires the ability to lift 25–50 lbs, stand for long periods, and follow safety procedures. Shift is 1st at 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, with benefits and growth potential.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform physical work, stand for extended periods and lift 25–50 lbs.
• Willingness to learn and be trained for manufacturing processes.
• Ability to follow safety and standard operating procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform production work to assist Machine Operators in setup and operation.
• Handle and transport raw materials, parts, supplies, tools, fixtures, dies and trucks.
• Load and unload trucks, count, weigh, and move materials to storage areas.
• Position and handle materials for processing equipment and conveyors.
• Deliver materials to manufacturing departments as directed.
• Maintain cleanliness and follow standardized work methods.
