Job summary

Chicago Bridge & Iron Company is seeking a skilled welder to lay out, align and weld fabrications such as tanks, vessels and frames. You will read blueprints, select materials and perform arc welding with GMAW, FCAW or GTAW to meet design tolerances.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Previous years of experience in the field or in a related area.

Responsibilities

• Lay out, align and weld fabricated components per blueprints.
• Select type and size of pipe or equipment according to specifications.
• Weld using arc welding processes and assemble sections.
• Ensure fit and finish per procedure and quality standards.
• Work with precision to maintain tolerances and safety.
• Maintain tools and workspace in good condition.
