Qualifications

• Experience reading blueprints and fabrication drawings.
• Proficient in MIG/TIG/FCAW/SMAW welding per AWS.
• On-site or shop fabrication experience with metal materials.
• Strong math and measurement skills with calipers/micrometers.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret mechanical blueprints, technical drawings, and fabrication shop drawings to determine project requirements.
• Perform MIG, TIG, FCAW, and SMAW welding in accordance with AWS standards.
• Use calipers, micrometers and power tools to ensure precise cuts and welds.
• Fabricate metal components from sheet metal and structural steel through cutting, shaping, plasma cutting, machining, and assembly.
• Operate plasma cutters and machining tools while following safety protocols.
• Measure and mark materials accurately to meet project specifications.
• Collaborate with team members on-site or in the shop to ensure timely completion.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety guidelines.
